Ok, so I found this article that claimed that the following are symbols that identify swingers worldwide. Let’s get into the list.
1.Pampas grass—WHY? And NO?
2.Pineapples—Not sure I have ever fully understood this symbol, but I have to say yes. Too many people that I KNOW and are definite swingers, have this symbol as a tattoo or on a piece of clothing. This was also the first symbol that I associated with the lifestyle through all my research.
3. “The swing”—on a necklace or ankle bracelet and toe rings…. I have never seen the words “the swing” on any jewelry. Have you? The ankle bracelet was something that I read about years ago and I understand that is specific for hot wives. I love ankle bracelets and toe rings, so yep!!
4. Black ring—This one we learned about only because I had given one to Lu and then on a date were told about the relevance. Pure luck on this one because I just thought it was cool.
5. Decoration—white rock or garden gnome—NO NO NO—I know for a FACT that my mother is NOT a swinger or anything closely related to alternative lifestyles…. Mom loves garden gnomes….. Gnomes are not sexy, they are ugly little creeps, so who thought of this?
6. Hot tub—NO!!! again, just silly.
7. Wristbands—ok I can see this one working. Some couples come back from adult resorts with wristbands specific to that trip and there are the necklaces with the little square letters and spell the persons name…. we all know that struggle, to remember names!!!
I just ask people and couples if they are lifestyle or swingers. Sometimes they have no idea what that is, which is a quick conversation ender and sometimes they are like” YES”!!! I asked a couple at Temptations if they were swingers, and the husband quickly grabbed his wife around the waist and got real nervous. Ok “BYE NOW” and have a great trip, hahaha. I also like to ask lifestyle couples what they are looking for and how they want to play for the night. This saves time and avoids any confusion and makes everyone feel less nervous, in my experience.
What do you like to wear or display? Do you have a quick conversation when it comes to playing with a new couple, or do you just go with it? What has worked best for you?
